Hard Times came from watching someone you care about go through a difficult season and trying to help them hold on to the faith that better days are coming.

The idea of staying in the boat has always meant something more to me than simply hanging on. It’s about staying together when things get rough. A quiet way of saying, we’ll get through this, and you’re not doing it by yourself.

That feeling became the heart of Hard Times. You may not be able to calm the storm for someone you love, but you can stay beside them, help them hold on to hope, and remind them that hard moments don’t have to be permanent.
